As a Level 5 qualified TEFL teacher with 10 hours of in-person training, I have honed my teaching skills to effectively cater to the diverse needs of students. My experience with the Girl Scouts, where I often helped out with the Cub Scouts, taught me that the best way to teach is to make the lessons as engaging and personal as possible.
Inclusivity is at the heart of my teaching philosophy. I strive to create a learning environment where everyone feels included and comfortable. This allows me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and enhance their learning experience.
My commitment to student success extends beyond the classroom. I want my students to leave each class feeling that they have learned something valuable. I strive to make my lessons engaging and personalized to each student's needs. One example of this is when I helped a new Cub Scout who was nervous about joining activities. I took the time to help her learn the necessary skills, and over time, she became comfortable and excited to join the rest of the Cub Scouts.
